2024 Term 1 - Year 7 English

Starting High School is daunting! All of a sudden you have multiple teachers, a new school to navigate and waaaaaaay more students to contend with than in Primary School. Add to that the fact that the work you’ve done in Primary School can sometimes seems worlds apart from what your High School teachers are asking you to complete and it can all get a bit overwhelming. That’s where we come in! In this mixed-school weekly group our expert teachers will guide your Cookie through the Stage 4 English curriculum ensuring that no one gets left behind! Rather than rushing on to new content (as classroom teachers often have to do) at CCA, we can spend longer on those problem topics such as analytical and creative writing to ensure your Cookie is confident and exam ready! Our mixed-school team sessions mean that our Cookies make new friends and LOVE attending each week! It also means that each student is exposed to work from different schools evening the playing field!

2024 Term 1 sessions will run weekly from Monday 5 February until Friday 12 April 2024.

Note: CCA reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any groups that do not meet the minimum number of enrolments.
